About Biripi ACMC

Biripi Aboriginal Corporation Medical Centre provides a wide range of culturally-appropriate health and well-being services covering communities across the mid-northern NSW region. These include Clinical, Maternal Health, Aged Care, Community Health and Dental Health services from clinics and facilities around Taree and statutory Out of Home Care (OOHC) through Biripi Aboriginal Children Services (BACS) in Taree and Walanbaa Gaayili in Inverell.

General Practitioner

The General Practitioner position is responsible for providing Aboriginal people with routine health care and medical service to improve the health and wellbeing of the Aboriginal community. Reporting to the Health Services Manager, you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide appropriate, quality health care and medical services to the Aboriginal community whilst ensure organisational objectives and standards of care are met

Male Aboriginal Health Worker - Drug & Alcohol/Sexual Health

Male designated role, responsible for providing culturally and gender appropriate prevention, early intervention and clinical services in the area of Drug & Alcohol and Sexual Health to ensure the achievement of agreed program performance indicators and improve health outcomes for local Aboriginal people and communities

Dental Assistant

Responsible for assisting in the provision of dental health services to improve dental health outcomes to Aboriginal people.
  • Assist in the delivery of oral health care to the Aboriginal community
  • Provide assistance and support to the Dental Clinicians
  • Assist in the implementation of programs and services promoting the oral health of Aboriginal people

Child, Youth & Family Caseworker

This position is  Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Identified.

The Child, Youth & Family Caseworker position is responsible for providing targeted early intervention support services to Aboriginal children, young people, families and communities
